Overview

Promise & The Pedigree Chums

The original 17 September 1994 flyer front explicitly prints PROMISE & THE PEDIGREE CHUMS; the reverse states they bring 'Yabba-Dabba-Doo! Time!' as the first of a planned themed rave series and prints a postal address for The Pedigree Chums at 14 Tiller Road, Docklands, London E14 8PX.

September 1994 period The Scene magazine advert repeats combined PROMISE & THE PEDIGREE CHUMS and the night/date/venue. The magazine's following October issue advertises a sequel 'Yabba-Dabba-II!' at the same Astoria with The Pedigree Chums (and Promise branding), confirming more than a single printed promotional event.

Flyer claims collective members had organised Raindance/Jungle Fever and supported other rave brands; this is an unverified PROMOTER CLAIM and not a secure authority merge or evidence those brands were subsidiaries.

Why it matters

Promise & The Pedigree Chums is retained as a TMR relationship because accession evidence directly identifies it in connection with a preserved Club Culture & Ephemera object.
