Henry Barajas is a comics writer from Tucson, Arizona. His graphic memoir La Voz de M.A.Y.O.: Tata Rambo tells the story of his great-grandfather, the activist Ramon Jaurigue. He also created Helm Greycastle and contributed to the charity anthologies Where We Live and The Good Fight.
With artist Rachel Merrill, Barajas made Death to Pachuco, a historical detective story set against the Sleepy Lagoon case and the Zoot Suit Riots in wartime Los Angeles. His work brings Mexican American history into comics through family biography, fantasy and crime storytelling.
