Biography
Person.
Joëlle Jones is a comics artist and writer whose work includes superhero stories, crime fiction and cover illustration. With Jamie S. Rich, she developed Lady Killer for Dark Horse, following a seemingly conventional mid-century housewife who also works as an assassin. The series brings period clothing and domestic interiors into direct contact with violent action.
Jones’s work for DC includes Catwoman, Batman and Supergirl: Being Super. She also wrote and drew stories about Yara Flor in Wonder Girl, following the character’s introduction through Future State. Her career combines the illustration of other writers’ scripts with projects in which she develops both the writing and artwork.
