Alex Arts

Alex Arts is a fashion model associated with The Face in the late 1980s. In April 1988, Arts appeared in Alex Eats, photographed by Anthony Gordon and styled by Katy Lush, a sequence set in London cafés and shops.

For the magazine’s hundredth issue that September, Arts appeared in Alex Works, again photographed by Gordon, with styling by Kathryn Flett. The story used everyday tasks to examine women’s work, bringing fashion clothing into a narrative about contemporary life.
