Fabien Baron is a Paris-born art director, designer, photographer and filmmaker, and the founder of Baron & Baron. After moving to New York in 1982, he developed a career across fashion magazines and brand identities, redesigning Italian Vogue and working with Interview and Harper’s Bazaar.
His projects include the art direction of Madonna’s Sex (1992), alongside advertising, packaging and visual identities for clients such as Calvin Klein, Burberry and NARS. He has also designed furniture and directed films, extending an editorial design practice into products and moving images.
