Jefferson Hack is an editor and publisher who co-founded Dazed & Confused with photographer Rankin in London in 1991. Emerging from their student publishing experience, the magazine brought music, fashion and art into a shared editorial space, initially supported through projects such as photographing London club audiences.
Hack subsequently developed Dazed Media, extending his publishing work to AnOther and Another Man and the moving-image platform Nowness. His work has encompassed editorial direction, cultural interviews and the organisation of an independent publishing business.
