Enmi Yang

Enmi Yang is a visual artist working primarily through photography. In a 2021 interview with Neu Neu, Yang described a practice concerned with intimacy and connection; the accompanying fashion story, Thinking About You, was made with stylist Ryan Gale and explored closeness during a period of separation.

Yang's portfolio includes an Office magazine cover and photographs of Sophia Roe for Counter Space. A further collaboration with Angelica Yeleshwarapu, published by FAR–NEAR in 2023, examined bodily autonomy, modesty and inherited ideas about decorum. These projects place fashion and portrait photography alongside questions about how people see, inhabit and present their bodies.
