Boogie

Boogie is the working name of photographer Vladimir Milivojević, who grew up in Belgrade and began photographing unrest during the wars in former Yugoslavia in the 1990s. He moved to New York in 1998 and has worked between Brooklyn and Belgrade.

His first book, It’s All Good, was published by powerHouse in 2006. Later books include Belgrade Guide, Moscow, NEAPOLIS and Persona Non Grata. His photographs have circulated through exhibitions, editorial commissions and books.
