Travis Lanham

Travis Lanham is an American comics letterer whose career developed through art education, production work and freelance publishing. After studying at the Savannah College of Art and Design, he worked in DC’s prepress department and became a staff letterer before moving into freelance work.

He later joined Virtual Calligraphy, the lettering studio associated with Chris Eliopoulos, and worked extensively on Marvel titles, including New Mutants and Ghost Rider. His credits also include comics for publishers such as BOOM!, Oni and Dynamite. Lanham’s work gives dialogue, captions and sound effects their visual form within the page, coordinating the written voice with the drawn action.
