Dave Stewart

Dave Stewart is a comics colourist whose work includes Hellboy, B.P.R.D., The Goon, Fatale and superhero titles for Marvel and DC. He entered the field through an internship at Dark Horse, initially working with colour separations before developing his own colouring practice.

Stewart has described approaching digital colour as painting, using Photoshop to shape the finished page rather than simply filling areas of line art. His collaborations range from horror and crime comics to Star Wars, Daredevil and The Human Target, and have received multiple Eisner Awards.
