Stephanie Hans

Stephanie Hans is a French illustrator and comics artist whose work includes covers and interior storytelling. She has worked for publishers including Marvel, DC, Image, BOOM! Studios and Dynamite. Her digitally painted images emphasise colour, composition and emotional atmosphere, drawing on a painterly approach to character and setting.

With writer Kieron Gillen she co-created DIE, a fantasy series published by Image Comics that received Hugo nominations and won a British Fantasy Award. The project extended her work from individual cover images into a sustained visual world developed across a continuing narrative.
