Joe Palmer

Joe Palmer is an English cartoonist whose comics include Time Before Time. After working primarily as an illustrator of other writers’ stories, he developed Destination Kill as his first long-form project combining writing and artwork.

Published by Oni Press in 2026, Destination Kill is set in a future London governed by a corporation, with a transatlantic train connecting the city to New York. Palmer developed and financed the work over several years, completing the drawing in 2024. His account of making the book describes a practice that moves from script and thumbnail layouts through pencilling, inking and colour, allowing him to shape the complete visual narrative.
