Thomas Krygier is a photographer and director who moved from fashion editorial work into music videos and advertising. His photographic clients included The Face and GQ. In the 1990s he developed a parallel directing career through British production companies, including Tony Kaye Films and Arden Sutherland-Dodd.
He subsequently founded Krygier Hirschkorn with producer Nick Hirschkorn. Their advertising work included a Eurostar commercial photographed by the cinematographer Freddie Francis. Krygier also directed videos for Skunk Anansie, including Hedonism and Brazen. His career links the visual experimentation of style magazines with the production culture of British music videos and commercials.
