Taryn Manning

Taryn Manning is an American actor and musician whose screen work includes 8 Mile, Crossroads and Hustle & Flow. She later played Tiffany “Pennsatucky” Doggett in Orange Is the New Black, developing one of the series' most recognisable supporting characters across its run.

Alongside acting, she formed the electronic pop duo Boomkat with her brother Kellin. Their debut album Boomkatalog One appeared in 2003, and “The Wreckoning” reached the top of Billboard's dance-club chart. She has also released solo dance-pop material. Her parallel careers place her at the intersection of film, television and the club-oriented pop of the 2000s.
