Steve Moore

Steve Moore (1949–2014) was a British comics writer associated with 2000 AD, Marvel UK and Warrior. He helped establish the short, self-contained Future Shocks format and wrote early stories for Doctor Who Weekly. His work also included Axel Pressbutton and contributions to Hulk Comic and The Daredevils.

A friend and mentor to Alan Moore, with whom he shared an interest in magic and the occult, he collaborated on Tom Strong and The Moon and Serpent Bumper Book of Magic. The latter was published after his death, bringing together practical, historical and illustrated approaches to magical traditions.
