Enrique Badulescu is a photographer born in Mexico City who studied photography in Munich. His international career developed in London during the 1980s through music and editorial work, including photographs for The Face and portraits of the Rolling Stones.
He moved into fashion and advertising, working with clients including Gap and Hermès and publications such as French Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. His practice combines photography with expressive colour, contrast and collage; he has cited Guy Bourdin, David Bailey and Andy Warhol as influences. His book Sueños was published in 2008.
