Biography
Person.
Dash Snow (1981–2009) was a New York artist whose work moved from graffiti into photography, collage, assemblage and film. Associated with the IRAK graffiti crew, he used Polaroids, 35mm photographs, zines and posters to record and transform the social world around him.
Snow worked within a downtown network that included Dan Colen and Ryan McGinley. His art often combined immediate, personal documentation with objects and images gathered from everyday life. He participated in the 2006 Whitney Biennial, and his work was later surveyed by the Brant Foundation.
