Stéphane Sednaoui is a French photographer and director whose practice spans portraiture, fashion, music videos and documentary work. His videos include Give It Away for the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Big Time Sensuality for Björk.
In 2005 Palm Pictures published a retrospective of his work in its Directors Label DVD series. His documentary photographs also formed the exhibition Witness at Ground Zero at New York’s 9/11 Memorial Museum. He made those images while volunteering in rescue efforts after the September 2001 attacks, recording the people and conditions he encountered during breaks from the work.
