Paul Neary was a British comics artist, writer and editor whose career linked Marvel UK with American superhero publishing. He worked on Doctor Who comics and became known for inking artists including Alan Davis and Bryan Hitch, contributing to the finished artwork of series such as Excalibur and The Ultimates.
As Marvel UK’s editor-in-chief in the early 1990s, Neary developed the Genesis 1992 programme, which included Death’s Head II, Motormouth and Killpower, and Dark Angel.
