Ralph Macchio

Ralph Macchio is an American comics writer and editor whose career at Marvel included the position of executive editor. He worked across titles including Daredevil, Thor and Spider-Man, and was associated with the development of the Ultimate Marvel line.

His writing includes the comic adaptation of The Transformers: The Movie, originally drawn by Don Perlin with inks by Ian Akin and Brian Garvey. Image and Skybound returned that adaptation to print for the film’s fortieth anniversary in 2026. His career spans both the writing of individual stories and the editorial work behind long-running superhero and licensed comics.
