Martina Kix

Martina Kix is a German journalist who trained at the Deutsche Journalistenschule in Munich. She worked for VICE in Berlin and New York, wrote for Bild am Sonntag and spent three years at NEON before joining ZEIT Campus. Her reporting has examined young people's lives, including responses to migration and the growth of right-wing politics.

Kix edited ZEIT Campus from 2019 to May 2024. Her wider freelance work has appeared in Die Zeit, Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung, Der Spiegel and Der Tagesspiegel, alongside interviewing and podcast work concerned with university life and the transition into adulthood.
