Todd Selby

Todd Selby is a photographer, director and illustrator who founded The Selby in 2008. Beginning with visits to friends’ homes, the project developed into an illustrated portrait of creative people through their living and working spaces. Photographs appear alongside handwritten interviews and drawings, making domestic details part of the account of a person’s life.

His books include The Selby Is in Your Place, Edible Selby and Fashionable Selby, extending the project into food and fashion. He has also contributed to publications including Vogue, Architectural Digest and M Le magazine du Monde. His work brings the informal intimacy of a studio visit into editorial photography.
