Johnny Davis is a British magazine editor and journalist whose career includes editing The Face and writing about style and luxury for Esquire. He took over The Face in 1999 and left the editor’s role in 2002.
At Esquire, his work has included extensive coverage of watches, their design histories and the people who wear them. His published articles examine both new releases and older models returning to production, alongside collaborations between watchmakers and fashion labels. That work continues a career concerned with the way style, products and popular culture meet in magazine publishing.
