D*Face

D*Face is the professional name of British artist Dean Stockton, whose paintings, prints, sculptures and murals draw on comics, graffiti and skateboard culture. His imagery transforms familiar celebrities and cartoon figures into uneasy symbols of consumerism, excess and mortality.

His street practice grew from hand-drawn vinyl stickers into posters, altered banknotes and interventions in advertising. A recurring winged character, D*Dog, connects these early works with later projects, including his contribution to the 2024 We Are Here exhibition at the Petit Palais in Paris.
