Biography
Person.
Steve Bush is a graphic designer associated with the early visual identities of Smash Hits and The Face. As Smash Hits’ art director, he helped establish an approach in which bright photography and clear page design made pop music accessible to a young readership.
When Nick Logan launched The Face, Bush designed its logo and some of its earliest covers. His contribution belongs to the magazine’s founding period, before the later work of Neville Brody, and helped establish its recognisable identity.
