Mischa Barton

Mischa Barton is an actor whose career began in New York theatre, including productions of Tony Kushner's Slavs! and James Lapine's Twelve Dreams. Her early films include Lawn Dogs, Notting Hill and The Sixth Sense. She became widely known through her leading role in the television drama The O.C.

Her subsequent work includes Closing the Ring, directed by Richard Attenborough, and a return to theatre in Steel Magnolias at Dublin's Gaiety Theatre. Alongside film and television, she has worked in fashion, launching a London boutique and collections of clothing, handbags and accessories.
