Matthew Wilson

Matthew Wilson, usually credited as Matt Wilson, is a comics colourist who began his professional career at Zylonol Studios in 2003. He subsequently worked independently on books including Thor, Daredevil, Wonder Woman and Swamp Thing, as well as creator-owned series.

His collaborations with Kieron Gillen and Jamie McKelvie include Phonogram, Young Avengers and The Wicked + The Divine, connecting his colour work with comics shaped by music, fandom and contemporary style. He also coloured Paper Girls. Across these projects, colour is part of the narrative construction, establishing atmosphere and helping distinguish the different worlds and periods depicted.
