Marthe Lagache

Marthe Lagache is a model and fashion figure associated with the Paris club scene of the 1980s. Contemporary fashion photographs document her modelling for Jean Paul Gaultier, including his spring/summer 1987 collection. She also appeared on the cover of The Face's Paris issue in July 1986.

Her presence at Le Palace and Le Privilège places her within the network of dancers, designers and performers who helped shape the city's nightlife style. Vogue's Hamish Bowles later recalled Lagache among the figures from that scene whose look resurfaced in Marc Jacobs's work for Louis Vuitton.
