Jean Reno

Jean Reno is a French actor whose career spans European cinema and Hollywood productions. His collaborations with Luc Besson include Subway, Le Grand Bleu, Nikita and Léon, in which he plays a solitary professional killer drawn into the life of a young neighbour.

Alongside those dramatic and action roles, Reno developed a comic partnership with Christian Clavier in films including Opération Corned-Beef, Les Visiteurs and L’Enquête corse. His international credits include Mission: Impossible, Godzilla and Ronin. Moving between French popular comedy and English-language thrillers, he became a recognisable presence across otherwise distinct film industries.
