Mike Reed is a singer and guitarist who co-founded Small Brown Bike in Marshall, Michigan, in 1996. The band released records through No Idea and Lookout!, bringing melodic vocals and forceful guitar playing into the American punk and emo scene. After disbanding in 2004, they reunited and released Fell & Found in 2011.
Reed's other projects include LaSalle, Able Baker Fox and 84 Tigers. His work grew from booking punk shows at a rural community centre to touring with bands such as Hot Water Music and Cursive, maintaining connections across independent music's local and international networks.
