Mark Lebon

Mark Lebon is a London-born photographer and filmmaker whose work emerged from the fashion and youth culture of the 1980s. He contributed covers and editorial photographs to i-D and The Face, working within a creative circle that included stylist and jewellery designer Judy Blame and fashion designer Christopher Nemeth.

His practice has continued across fashion photography, moving image and collaborative commercial projects. Later work includes photographs of Goldie, projects for Stüssy and OAMC, and collaborations with photographer Hugo Scott. His career connects the intimate creative networks of London's alternative fashion scene with subsequent generations of image-makers.
