Patrick Wolf

Patrick Wolf is a British singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music combines electronic production with strings and folk influences. He began recording as a young teenager and developed his early work with support from FatCat Records before releasing Lycanthropy in 2003 and Wind in the Wires in 2005.

His 2007 album The Magic Position included contributions from Marianne Faithfull and orchestral musicians, extending the scale of his songwriting and arrangements. Wolf’s performance style also brought him into fashion, including a Burberry campaign. Later releases include Crying the Neck in 2025, continuing a career in which personal writing, acoustic instruments and experimental pop production remain closely connected.
