Matthew Dunn

Matthew Dunn is an Australian illustrator and comics artist whose work developed alongside Melbourne's independent art scene. He trained in fine art and created the comic Lonely Monsters, as well as making illustrations for music, clothing and other projects. His drawing brings together an interest in strange characters, dark humour and unsettling imagery.

Dunn's later comics work includes illustrating R.L. Stine's Stuff of Nightmares: The Cat in the Coffin for BOOM! Studios. The collaboration places his visual storytelling within a horror tale about a stolen funeral keepsake and the consequences of a broken promise.
