Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg is an American rapper and performer from Long Beach, California, whose early work helped define West Coast G-funk. Recording initially as Snoop Doggy Dogg, he became a prominent collaborator on Dr. Dre’s The Chronic in 1992. His own debut, Doggystyle, followed in 1993 with songs including Who Am I (What’s My Name)? and Gin and Juice.

Later records include Tha Doggfather and Reincarnated, the latter made under the name Snoop Lion. He has also worked in film and television, expanding from music into acting and entertainment while retaining a distinctive, relaxed vocal delivery.
