Larry Hama

Larry Hama is an American comics writer, artist and editor closely associated with G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero and Wolverine. His work for Marvel in the 1980s and 1990s helped develop long-running stories around characters also familiar through toys and other media. He has continued writing G.I. Joe for Skybound.

Hama's wider comics work includes Batman, Wonder Woman and Iron Fist, and his illustrations have appeared in National Lampoon, Esquire and Rolling Stone. He is also an actor: his credits include television appearances and the original 1976 Broadway production of Stephen Sondheim's Pacific Overtures.
