Lewis LaRosa

Lewis LaRosa is a comics artist whose work includes The Punisher, Bloodshot and Megalith. His illustrations combine detailed figure drawing with action and science-fiction settings, and his practice includes both sequential pages and standalone covers.

Megalith, written by Matt Kindt for Bad Idea, developed as an extended science-fiction project with colours by Laura Martin. LaRosa's career was also the subject of Carbon Based: The Art of Lewis LaRosa, a retrospective developed with Oni Press. In discussing the book, he described the importance of original drawing and the artists whose work had influenced his own.
