Amir Hossain

Amir Hossain is a photographer and director who works under the name Blacksocks. His images use strong colour, unusual compositions and art direction across music, fashion and advertising. His collaborators have included Arlo Parks, Beabadoobee and The 1975, with campaigns for brands including Converse, Superdry and Dr. Martens.

He also directs with Soren Harrison as Bedroom and has developed the independent clothing label Phug. His work spans still photographs, music videos and the construction of visual identities for musicians and brands.
