Mert Alas is a Turkish-born photographer who works with Marcus Piggott as Mert and Marcus. Their editorial photographs have appeared in editions of Vogue, W, LOVE, Interview and Self Service, using carefully controlled colour and light across fashion and portraiture.
The partnership has created advertising campaigns for brands including Versace, Valentino and Calvin Klein, and directed music videos for Madonna and Nicki Minaj. Their first monograph was published by Taschen in 2017, documenting the development of their joint photographic practice.
