Eva Gonçalves

Eva Gonçalves is a graphic designer and art director whose studio works between Berlin and Lisbon. Her practice includes editorial design, visual identities, exhibitions and websites for artists, cultural organisations and independent publishers. Clients include mono.kultur, MAAT, Greenpeace Germany and Suhrkamp Verlag.

With Maria Nogueira, she designed mono.kultur’s issue devoted to choreographer Meg Stuart, arranging text and images in changing orientations that require the reader to turn the magazine. She also teaches, gives workshops and writes about design, treating collaboration and the social context of a project as part of the design process.
