Peter Milligan is a British writer of comics, film and television, associated with the development of comics for adult readers. His work includes Shade, the Changing Man, Enigma, The Extremist, Rogan Gosh and Human Target.
He has written extensively for DC and its Vertigo imprint, including Hellblazer and Justice League Dark, and developed the satirical superhero series X-Statix for Marvel. His screenwriting includes Pilgrim, also known as Inferno, and An Angel for May. Across these projects, he has worked with psychological drama, horror, cultural satire and revisions of established comic-book characters.
