Amanda Lear

Amanda Lear is a singer, model, painter and actor whose career has moved across fashion, disco, television and theatre. She worked with designers including Mary Quant and Ossie Clark before recording I Am a Photograph in 1977, followed by Sweet Revenge in 1978. Her songs include Blood and Honey, Queen of Chinatown and Follow Me.

From the 1980s she developed a substantial television career, particularly in Italy. She later worked in French theatre, beginning with Panique au ministère in 2009, while continuing to record and paint.
