Alister Mackie is a Scottish stylist and creative director, born in St Andrews. He studied fine art at Glasgow School of Art and fashion design at Central Saint Martins before developing a career in magazine styling and editorial direction.
Mackie served as fashion director at Dazed and AnOther and helped launch Another Man as creative director. His independent publishing projects include The Leopard and Scenery. He has collaborated with photographers including Alasdair McLellan, Willy Vanderperre and Nick Knight, and consulted for fashion houses including Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton and Prada.
