Seven consecutive issues held by TMR document Signal to Noise in The Face from June to December 1989. The June contents names Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean as its creators and describes a story made exclusively for the magazine. This sequence locates the work within a monthly fashion and youth-culture publication, alongside its other editorial material.

August 1989 — Signal to Noise — Part 3, page 94 (TMR-000539).

The November listing explicitly announces the last episode for the following month. December labels its instalment Conclusion and prints pages 122–129. November therefore should not be described as the end of the serial. Prelude and Conclusion are retained as printed, without supplying unprinted part numbers.
June, November and December contents photographs were inspected on 20 September 2026. The July–October entries retain the photograph-backed indexing recorded on 11 September. Contents pages establish advertised titles and page references; they do not establish that every story page is present in these particular copies. Full physical collation, exact interior credits and comparison with later book editions remain further research.
