Catalogue note
PIMP Magazine No. 9, subtitled 'The Art of Creation', is a free UK independent culture magazine combining art, fashion, music, film and underground culture. Its contents include Ali Love, Kris Moyes, Jody Barton, The Black House, Blood Red Shoes, Love Is All, Art Army, PMKFA, Harlem Shakes and a Kenneth Anger film feature. The rear cover is a period advertisement for the inaugural BLOC Weekend at Pontin's, Hemsby, 23–25 March 2007, preserving an early announced lineup before Autechre was added as headliner.
Why this object matters
The inaugural BLOC announcement preserves a particular early lineup state alongside independent art and music coverage. That concrete nightlife-history component makes this free magazine outstanding evidence across TMR’s club and publishing collections.
Evidence limits: Complete — all pages/components assumed present under the standing TMR completeness rule; no missing issued component has been reported
