The Face Vol. 3 No. 23, December 1998, with Jacquetta Wheeler photographed by Mario Testino under the prophetic cover line 'The Face of 1999'. Published in the same year Testino spotted Wheeler in London, the issue captures her at the beginning of the rapid ascent that would soon make her one of the defining British models of the turn of the millennium. The contents extend that future-facing mood through 'Futurama', a speculative technology package, a feature on post-Soviet Russian youth culture, Reese Witherspoon, and Mario Testino's 'A Bigger Splash' editorial with Gisele Bündchen and Fernanda Tavares.
