Caio Vaz

Caio Vaz is a Brazilian surfer, model and actor from Rio de Janeiro. He began modelling while still at school, appearing in Vogue editorials and on the cover of i-D. On television he played Thor, a young surfer, in Globo's Três Irmãs, broadcast in 2008–09.

Vaz subsequently concentrated on competitive surfing, specialising in stand-up paddle surfing. By his February 2017 interview with UOL Esporte he had won two world titles in that discipline. His career connects professional surf culture with fashion photography and Brazilian television.
