The Horrors are a British band formed in 2005 by musicians including singer Faris Badwan, Rhys Webb and Tom Furse, joined by guitarist Joshua Hayward and drummer Joe Spurgeon. Their early performances and distinctive appearance drew on garage rock, post-punk and a shared interest in records and club culture.
Their sound expanded from the abrasive debut Strange House into the psychedelia of Primary Colours, Skying and Luminous. Later releases, including V and the Lout and Against the Blade EPs, explored darker electronic and industrial textures. Night Life, released in 2025, continued that development with a changed line-up.
