Mark Elijah Rosenberg is a filmmaker and writer who founded Rooftop Films in New York in 1997 and served as its artistic director. The organisation developed screenings and support for independent film. His own screen work includes writing and directing Approaching the Unknown, starring Mark Strong, and work on National Geographic's speculative documentary series Year Million.
He extended his interest in science fiction into comics as co-writer, with Matthew Rosenberg, of If Destruction Be Our Lot. Illustrated by Andy Macdonald, the Image series follows robots searching for purpose after humanity's disappearance.
