Why this object matters

The original MacDonald/Segala cover records a contemporary post-human science-fiction launch. Its robot-centred premise and first publication state are useful evidence, but a rapid reprint establishes demand rather than enduring cultural importance. The former 8.5 was not sufficiently supported.

Evidence limits: Complete under the standing TMR completeness rule; no missing issued component has been reported. Front and reverse are photographed through the Soft Slab; interiors are not independently inspectable without opening the enclosure.

Score and assessment method

Archive Importance: 7 / 10.

This is a curatorial judgement, not a measurement accurate to one tenth or a market valuation. Read the explanation and its evidence limits together.
