Biography
Person.
Mikel Janín is a Spanish comics artist who moved into the field after working as an architect. He began professional comics work around 2010, contributing pencils, inks and covers, primarily for DC. His early credits include Flashpoint: Deadman and the Flying Graysons and a sustained run on Justice League Dark.
He collaborated there with writers including Peter Milligan, Jeff Lemire and J.M. DeMatteis, and also drew Batman Eternal and Grayson. His career brings the spatial concerns of an architectural background into sequential drawing, working across individual pages, covers and extended superhero narratives.
